Based in Offenbach am Main - in the immediate vicinity of Germany's largest airport, Frankfurt - NEMIUS has been consulting manufacturers on the approval of medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics for over 10 years. Thorsten Schmitt is the Managing Director of the NEMIUS Group. He has made a name for himself during many years in the areas of quality assurance, laboratory, process and project management, he also gained experience internationally. In addition to the field of medical technology, his areas of expertise include the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. His profound knowledge of the German healthcare industry and many years of experience as a consultant and trainer have enabled Thorsten Schmitt to build the NEMIUS Group into a centre of excellence in the medical device sector.

Dr. Yong-Sung Lim

Dr. Yong-Sung Lim

Dr. Yong-Sung Lim is the Director of the Korean Desk of Nemius Medical and contact person for Korean and Asian medical device manufacturers. He has been providing services to renowned Korean medical device manufacturers since 2006. As a materials scientist with a PhD, he has both in-depth knowledge in the technical field and many years of experience in the medical device, electronics and automotive industries.
